How to choose a German Shepherd puppy

Start with the breeder and the parents, then look at the puppy itself. Ján Sudimák wants a puppy that is healthy, well fed, lively and open to people and new places, and he advises against one that is fearful or shows no interest in play or contact.

What the book covers

In chapter II of the book he explains how to choose the sex and the breeder, how he tests each puppy of a litter and later compares the results with the adult dog, and what to arrange before the puppy goes home. It is written for people getting their first German Shepherd as much as for breeders.
